All of her friends gathered around her. She had thought that she had been able to keep her feelings for Horton hidden from the rest of the world but now she realized that wasn't the case. Liblue started to cry, not only from the loss of Horton but also realizing the friendships she had made with so many, their acceptance of her even when they knew of her feelings. It was just too much for Liblue to hold in. The next thing she knew...

They were all hugging her as she cried & laughed alternately....she was so happy that she had all of these friends....and sad because of the loss of Horton who could have been such a great guy...after just a few short minutes she dusted herself off..... wiped her eyes and looked around at everyone in the room,.....and asked....."Well what are we doing just standing around?"...

and everyone laughed, some with a jolly laugh for they knew the friendships made on this journey would last a lifetime, some with a half-hearted nervous laugh because they had made friends but knew that this time together was soon to come to an end and yet others laughed because they knew that somehow everything was going to work out for the best and were just enjoying the moment. It was a special time for all and none wanted to think about leaving and returning to their normal daily lives but for now they were together and everyone seemed to want ...........

The time was late and people started heading towards their rooms to get a good night's sleep and be ready for the next morning. After all, there was a fantastic breakfast buffet in their hotel and they could meet up with the others there to decide what they would do that day. Some sightseeing perhaps or maybe even visit some historical places that they hadn't had time to see yet... but that would all be talked about in the morning. Liblue was sad to see everyone go to their respective rooms for it meant that she would be alone with her thoughts until morning. Hoping to settle and be able to get some sleep, she thought a nice warm bath was in order but .........

when she opened the bathroom door there was Horton in all his resplendent glory. Man oh man does he manage to show up in the strangest places thought Liblue. She stood in the doorway drinking in Horton's smiling although very ashen face. She wondered what was wrong with him and then noticed the puddle of juice on the floor. OMG she thought.... he's OD'd on juice and decided to do the deed in my bathroom. Liblue rushed to the phone and called ..................

Uncle since his room was the closest to hers and she knew that he would know exactly what needed done. Uncle was knocking on Liblue's door before she could even hang up her phone carrying a large case with all the items he might need. First, Uncle gave Horton a large glass of vitamin water and stood over him while he drank it. It seemed to help a little almost immediately but Uncle decided to have him eat an energy bar to speed up the process. While they waited, Liblue and Uncle wondered how Horton had made it back here and ........

she decided to call Joan & Sashim & some of the others to come & help question him....Oh this was so confusing she though...how & why does this keep happening to her...

Horton's look alike kept his eyes closed as he pretended to slowly come around from a juice OD. Through the implantable comm device (designed by the electronically adept Horton) he knew the real Horton had stealthily crept up behind Uncle, Liblue, et alia. Horton in his great wisdom had years ago groomed numerous of his LEVER minions to be stand ins for him, btw. (heck, if politicians and despots could use them, why not Horton?) Horton waited until the perfect moment and asked some inane question that Uncle just answered without looking back. Several of the other did look back though and were aghast when they saw Horton standing with a big grin amongst them. Uncle finally caught on, turned and faced the Adonis like Horton. What happened next would be ....................

Such a figment of someone's delusional imagination - that absolutely no one in their right mind would believe it at all.

Uncle grabbed Liblue's light saber and set it to full blasting power and landed a perfect hit on Horton. Horton's last thoughts were that this was impossible but as the electronic devices began to smoke and Horton fell to the ground with smoking and arcing circuitry still sizzling and causing him to twitch violently. This is when Uncle and the others realized that Horton and his double were both robotic creatures and not living beings after all. Everyone was stunned by the sight and then the reality struck them that HORTON WAS NEVER ALIVE!!!!! Now they wondered who it was that had built such realistic robots and why they were the ones targeted, how long had all of this been planned... so many questions but no answers. All of the night's revelations had a profound effect on Liblue .....

It's a good thing, she thought that her mind was close to the final thought of the meaning of 750, the magical number hidden or lost since the first day this adventure started.

Her mind searched and searched but she did not know why this number... 750... was so important to her. All she knew was that she was haunted by this number. Even in her dreams... she was always chasing this number. It was elusive at times and others, it would be right in front of her, just out of reach. What could this mean? Was this magical 750 a friend or foe? All she knew ................

that was the target......and how to go about finding out what that would mean....well... she thought...lets have a dream meditation...she went to her room and turned off all the lights...and lit a candle.....relaxing and concentrating on her breathing she let her mind go clear.....it was difficult at first... with thoughts of Horton creeping in......she pushed them to the back of her mind and continued on...

She thought of a possible numerology connection - 750 = 12 = 3 . . .

the number of creativity, energy and all things good. It didn't make any sense so perhaps there was another reason... what could it be?

during the meditation session all kinds of things were trying to distract her mind.....mostly Horton....and why he has to be the way he is...no matter what she tried to do she couldn't concentrate...so the ended the meditation and did some stretches on the floor beside her bed....

 

[Uncle]

As "liblue" was doing a Downward Dog - all of a SUDDEN she notice that something was under her bed. So she reached under to find a box was there that she knew nothing about. "Liblue" pulled it out and found that it was a Golden box that was incrusted with all these precious stones. She was quite perplexed how and why it was there. She looked for some way to OPEN IT, but couldn't. So she called "JoanJ" to tell her about the box and see if she could help her.

JoanJ looked surprised. "Don't you remember winning this in a contest at ECF? Check your emails, hon." and lilblue did just that.
