strange aftertaste on Turbos...

okay, ive been a v4l carto freak but was really excited about the Vapornine turbos, and ordered a few boxes. As soon as they came I filled the first one up with freedom juice, and immediately noticed a weird taste on the exhale. I cant really describe what it is... so I filled another up with some cheap dekang juice , and still the same. not really a burnt taste, cant explain it i guess, but definately not a pleasant one. I noticed the same taste in the 510 cartomizers that i ordered, wonder if both are made by the same company??

also, forgot to mention they were used on a BB, and a manual 808 batt

try cleaning the threads on the 808 battery. Or who knows, maybe you have a sinus infection or are getting sick. That really messed up my taste a few weeks ago.

Its most likely not the cartos, either the hardware or your tastebuds outta wack.

For what it's worth, I've tried both the hardcap and the softcap Turbos and, if anything, all my juices taste better than in any other catomizer I've tried so far. I know it's not helping you, just sharing my experience. I used nHaler, Ms.T's, and Cignot juices. No bad aftertaste whatsoever.

Maybe Kimmy's right, clean the threads on your batteries with some alcohol.

rinsed them out with hot water, and it seems to have killed it a little.same juice in my other brand cartos on the same devices were still good, so it has to be the cartos. anyone try these at 6v? got some cr2's on order,cant wait

i have noticed this also. they have(to me)a vitamin smell and taste to them. nobody else has noticed this

I haven't noticed.. Hmm.. The FIRST shipment we got had strange smelling rubber caps (condoms) but we had this taken care of. All the most recent batches have been free of this smell. When did you receive the questionable tasting cartos? Sorry if you got some of the first batch..appreciate your patience as we worked through the bugs.. Most recent ones have been A-OK so far as the feedback I've received.

I have no idea if I bought from the same batch, but mine are perfect. I received them around the 28th of April. Filled and vaped. Excellent flavor, vape and TH. I wonder what the problem is?

I know another company has a ton of complaints about a perfumy taste. But they are the lower resistance carts. HOpe I said that right?

boiled a few, one stopped working, other one works and the aftertaste is a little less, but whatever juice i use tastes completely different, halo almost tastes like nothing, loses its sweet vanilla/cedar taste, almost like a regular tobacco flavor with the same aftertaste, this sucks

also after filling another cart with 30 drops, im getting a burnt taste after about 10 hits on both 3.7 and my pt

I have ordered the new Turbo soft caps twice in the last couple of weeks (10 boxes each time), and have not had a problem so far. To me, they actually make the juice taste better than the v4l premium cartos, and do not suffer the same heat/burnt taste after filling more than a couple of times. I'm using juice from v4l, TV, DIY, and Ms. T.

I just received a box of the turbos yesterday. I haven't had that problem so far. In fact I think they make my TV juices taste even better.
I'm also using them on the BB. I normally use the eGo for most of the day but the cone fits a bit too tight.
I've heard that removing the label solves this problem but I just haven't had a chance to try it yet.

okay thats two posts from others that claim a bad taste, so i guess im not crazy, i must have got a bad batch or something, because my v4l carts that have been boiled 4 times, refilled at least 25 times and are 2 months old work way better than these.

Anyway....as everyone knows I don't really give a Rat Fink's patootie what anyone thinks of me....especially since the term "me" can have soooo many definitions.

so....here is what I have noticed....and please,please,please, people....take a couple deep breaths before you go balistic.....and remember....I, Ben....everyone of us was a "noobie" once as well. I have noticed that with one irrelevant exception the people commenting about a strange taste coming from a BLANK carto are very new. Now...I of course do not know if they are new vapers...or just new forum users. But if you are new vapers...I encourage you to just give ALL OF THIS some time. OR...you can do what I did and make a total ... out of yourself by thinking your subjective,personal experiences have some meaning and then getting "into it" here on the forum. I personaly don't know much...if anything at all...as Scottbee will be happy to verify. wub:I'ld blow you a kiss Scott but I'm too drunk to find the right frikin smiley).....but I do feel that I know this. What ever the problem is....Ben will make it right. PM him in private....that is the best way to get positive results. From Ben...or any other supplier. It really doesn't matter what any of the rest of us think or have experienced...if your unhappy let the man know...in private. And I promise you...he will make it right.

I recall many moons back posting a new thread that was entitled something like..."does anyone else notice that ALL their juice tastes like crap at the end of the day".....I am so glad I did that instead of complaining to the juice suppliers I was dealing with. Because I found out that drasticly changed taste/smell perceptions are very common when you first quit smoking. Or even if you are not a smoker and just started vaping. And Kimmy is 100% right!!! Sometimes the very first sign that I am coming down with a cold or an allergy attack is that my favorite juice just doesn't taste right. Also....if it's freakin 2am and I've been up for 30something hours....the Kraken rum bottle is empty and gee...my Halo tastes like crap....it's time to go to bed!

I am honestly trying to give you folks having problems usefull advise. Unfortunately I pretty much suck at interpersonal communications.(whadda you expect...I'm an anteater!!!) However....maybe if your lucky miss Mia will chime in an help ya'll out.

PS...that's ONE other person that agrees with you...who is also extemely new...and one other poster who has a long history of being hostile and having low communication skills. That said....I just bought 6 boxes of the new Racing Stripe Turbos...it will be a long time before I actually use them. But if I have a problem with them I will certainly let Ben know. In private. And he will make it right. No question. There have been QC (quality control) problems in the past..there always will be. It all works out...it really does. Ben is one of the few guys that really cares about us,you,me...his customers. And he's such a nice guy...and cute too...I'm just sorry my daughter lives in Nevada.

I've had issues with the Turbos, but didn't want to bring it up in the forum without talking with Ben first. He and I emailed back and forth about these earlier this week. I've only been on the forums about two months, but I've been vaping significantly longer that that. I think the OP has a legitimate concern.
