Strange battery problem

It was working fine and i knew that i had put a good use in so i was waiting for the LED to start blinking at any momment indicating it needed to be charged but instead the LED just went on real quick then off. Tried again for grins, and same thing.

Now it is plugged into the charger and the LED on the CHARGER is red but the LED on the bat never blinked when i first plugged it into the computer as it usual does.

Any ideas whats going on?

Maybe different power strength of the chargers. As long as it is red.....It bugs me too, so sometimes, I unscrew it a little but not all the way and then rescrew it in and then it starts blinking....

Overtightening the battery to the charger can cause wierd problems. I turn the battery in far enough to make the charger light react, then about 1/4 turn more; never tight.

Thanks, solid thinking; but i am always very cautious not to overtighten. The charger LED did turn green and the battery does work. Just very strange.

Is this a wierd fluke or will the bats LED now never blink when juice is low or when first plugged into the USB charger?

I had a KR808D battery do almost exactly the same thing. It stopped blinking when running out of power just like yours did, and when plugged in it would flash like normal then just keep going, a little LED strobe light the entire time it was charging. Charged fine, worked fine, but it never blinks when running down and it blinks constantly on the charger to this day.
