Strange Cartomizer Habits...

I hear a lot about punching cartos and using them with tanks. But, I actually like using straight Boge cartridges because they aren't as fiddly, I rarely get covered in juice like I do with the big clear tanks, They produce massive amounts of vapor and are cheap enough to toss when they start flaking out.

But, it seems like a lot of people complicate them. Who else uses their Boge cartridges straight up? Do you have any tips? Can you recommend any other inexpensive cartomizer brands that are really good?

Tanks always seemed like a good idea to me but I never really got it right. I'd rather just fill up a couple cartos if I'm gonna be driving for a while or whatever. I used the 1.7 ohm smokteks (the ressurectors) exclusively for about a year up untill I really got into genesis attys. I still keep a couple boxes around for those times I don't want to have to answer a thousand questions about my vape.

I seem to always have cartos on the way from Madvapes. I get cartos in all different ohms to use with my Smoktech vv Gripper.

I use mostly Boge straight up in my 3.7 (non VV) Gripper...sometimes Smoktech. When they are in stock, Ikenvape. Depends on what is available and the price, mostly. I like to use 2ohm with the straight up 3.7 mods and regulated eGos. But except for that 3.7 Gripper...I mostly use 6ml. carto tanks. That way I don't have to worry about filling all day, pretty much. For my VV stuff like the VV Gripper or Ovale V8, I use 3ohm. In a tank, though.

Although I have no experience with the Cust Serv, as I've never had a problem. Every thing ordered has always been right.

I use the Boge 2.0 in a tank and there great i usually use em for about 5 days and toss it, i do switch flavors with it doesnt really effect it all too much

so you just take the cart, fill it up with your juice, and use it without a tank? Doesn't it get hot?

It might get a little warm, but cartos are made for that. Not all cartos are tank cartos. But they all will transfer a little warmth to the case if you're doing some serious vaping.

I've been using LR Boges on an Ego battery(no heat issues at all). I tried tanks and just couldn't get it right. My wife however uses the same cartos punched in a cheap tank with great results. All a mater of personal preference I guess.
