Strange Cartomizer Problem

Hi all,

I'm using standard Joye 510 (180 mAh) batteries with Smok Tech 2.5 ohm carts and a 5V 510 USB passthru with 3.2 ohm Smok Tech's. The e-juice I'm using is a PG/VG blend.

On both setups, after a few puffs e-juice starts building up on the rubber stopper and gets all over my lips and tongue. It's not an overfilling issue since it happens even when the carts are almost empty and doesn't happen if I "dry" puff on the carts. Is the vapor condensing on the stopper? It's quite annoying to have to constantly wipe off the carts.

Anyone else have this issue? Is it the carts? The e-juice? the batteries? How can I stop this? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Try removing the white rubber piece and try use a drip tip instead.

Simple quick fix. Use a drip tip in your carto. It's a combination of condensation and probably some hot juice splatter. A drip tip will eliminate it and feel better in your lips too.

Take the rubber stopper off and attach a drip tip. What you are experiencing is water vapor mixed with PG/VG/nic/flavoring from your carto collecting on the stopper. Pretty common. Without a drip tip, there's nothing between your lips and the carto. With. Drip tip, you will not have that problem usually.
