Today I received my package of e-cig supplies delivered by a USPS delivery woman. I had to sign for the package and when I did the lady looked at me and said "BE CAREFUL"?

I was thinking how does she know what I am getting in this package?

The package was not labeled with anything referring to e-cigarettes.

Do they check the contents of our packages or what?

Just seemed strange!!

I too had a rather strange thing happen with USPS a cpl of weeks ago. Normally my e-cig stuff that has to be signed for comes via my normal carrier. On this particular order they sent 2 carriers to my house on the same day, one with all my "normal" mail and a second that had my e-cig order from China that had to be signed for. The 2nd one came up on my porch and knocked on the door, the regular carrier has NEVER done that. She sits out front and blows the horn till I walk out to her car. I consider the extra carrier weird, but as far as I can tell harmless. If I was the paranoid conspiracy theory type I'd probably be freaking out though. Not saying any of Ya'll are, so don't take it personally. Who knows, maybe it's some crazy USPS conspiracy to intimidate us into not ordering our supplies etc. LOL!!!

This happened to me on Saturday. I NEVER have two different carriers deliver my mail and my orders from China, but I did on Sat. Weird. Oh well, I was just happy to see it :)

I always have two different carriers with my China orders, the China order always comes by 10:30 and the rest of the mail at normal time (more like 2 pm). Think it may have something to do with it being express, don't know for sure.

My carrier has been pretty cool about it. I had gotten a couple of packages I had to go pick up, so I could sign because I wan't home. The next time I made sure I was home and the carrier offered to sign for me the next time and has been doing that ever since. He actually apologized that he didn't do that the first time, but wanted to make sure it was ok, and another time it was a different carrier that did it. Really nice guy. :)

You should have given her the cat and got her started on e-cigs. She'd have left a happy, fulfilled woman.

My ruyandirect arrived untouched in my mailbox and had 2 kits which they tucked in the additional atomisers, batteries, and juice that I had ordered. They had packed it in one of those bubble envelopes. My 20 bottles of lorrains oils had obviously been torn opened and examined.
I had ordered the lorrains insured and my new mail lady brought it to my door in the morning but told me she did not have the mail sorted yet so I would get that later.
She seemed friendly at the time but now you all have me paranoid. jk ; )

I offered to pay my USPS 'China' carrier $5 to sign it for me. - He just laughed and had me sign twice and print once, while I tried to wipe the 11:15AM sleep from my eyes.

At the time, I was paranoid that bi-weekly deliveries would bring suspicion. The USPS carrier is happy to have a job. I am happy to spread the joy of not smoking.

So. I now get up early on expected delivery days. I sure wish I knew which days those are....5to8days+ does not cut it.

Having someone that will sign for you is golden.

I have a freind that has been a Postmaster for a very large postal facility and I called him to ask him if there are any outstanding warnings or issues with China deliveries today. He said that he knew of known and if there was any he would surely have gotten what he called a "bulletin" about it.

So for what it is worth, I am not to concerned about it. I wish the original OP here had asked what the "good luck" comment was. Like I said earlier--the postal person was more then likey joking when they saw it was a package from China due to all the quality control issues that get reported in the news---Sun
