I had a little "strange", for lack of a better word, experience yesterday. I"m getting things like this alot lately, in different ways.....dreams and whatnot. I don't go around looking for things, or dwelling on things, but.........I don't know how to describe it really. I"ll just say what happened.

I've been reading a few chapters in my Bible every night. I'm thinking to myself, why do I have to read all of this? I already know the teachings, the basics.........so what's the point in reading every single verse in the whole book?

Now, I was thinking this to myself, it was a general thought in my mind, not those specific words, just the thought process of pondering that question.

Then I saw something in my mind. Didn't see it with my eyes, saw it in my head. I saw the top half of Jesus, like from the chest up and there was the top half of person/human in front, just below Him. Don't ask me how I knew it was Him, I just knew. And I saw Him gently reach out his hand, and lightly tap the human head in front of Him with His finger, and the part where He tapped just kind of lit up like a light bulb. I could see inside this human head, saw the brain and that part just lit up when He tapped it.

You know those touch lamps where you just tap it and it lights up, that's what it was like.

Then the thought came into my mind that He will bring out things stored in your memory when you need them, or when He wants you to remember them, but those things must be stored in the first place.

HOW STRANGE IS THAT??????? It makes perfect sense to me tho, after I thought about it.........but has anyone ever had anything like that happen to them before?

What a beautiful and easy to understand explanation, and I know it was from Him. No, I'm not insane, I don't hear voices or see things that aren't there!

Does anyone else have "strange' experiences for lack of a better word?

Yes I have. He has a way of giving us 'revelations' that we can understand and will never forget. :)
Cool ain't it?

PS - I guess I can share a few (super condensed versions)... :)

He once used 'birds' to teach me the importance of loving the un lovely.
He once shared His pain to show me how mine paled in comparison.
He once answered I'd have nothing if I never gave anything away.

That's so awesome, He really does teach us what we need to understand, and He is the perfect teacher! :):):)

Amen. When He 'shared' His pain with me (believe me, for those few seconds I felt as if my heart were going to explode beneath the pressure of it!... I've felt emotional pain before... but nothing like this!)... I felt so guilty & so small afterward, but He didn't do it to make me to feel small or guilty.... He just wanted me to 'know' that no matter how much pain we feel, His is even greater... so I never dwell on 'my' pain anymore... it's almost insignificant by comparison....

Wow, I can't even imagine. Really helps to put things, and ourselves, into proper perspective.

I think you both are greatly blessed to get this insight. The closest I've ever come to that is when I asked Him MANY years ago to see through HIS eyes. Well, I was on my way to work and I saw a homeless man. I was so overcome with grief that I could hardly catch my breath. It was almost more than I could stand. It just broke my heart and I had to pull it together to go to work! What did I do about it? Nothing, I'm ashamed to say. I can't remember if this was before my husband and I were married or not.

I do remember being approached by a homeless guy with a german shepherd. The dog looked very well fed and the guy asked for any loose change. I didn't have any. My husband has taught me that all folks with signs wanting to work for food have made a career out of standing with a sign saying 'will work for food.' He was going to give someone a minor job, but they refused it. At that time, he ran a fast food place of his uncles. You don't know who to believe or what to believe so you need the help of the Holy Spirit so you don't put yourself in jeopardy. :(

Yea, I can't even imagine the sadness and grief the state of the world and the people in it bring to Him on a daily basis. I know it breaks His heart so much.
