Strange Gel-like substance on the inside of my Clearomiser?

Hi guys, I realise this might not be the right place to post this but I purchased a starter set with a clearomiser, battery and some liquid, and when I looked at it this morning, it seemed that the liquid had started to form some sort of gel on both sides of the clearomiser! What's happened? Is it dangerous? Any advice appreciated.

I have a bottle of Menthol from Mt Baker Vapor and it's got that gel substance too. I don't think it's eating the bottle, I think it's the menthol flavoring causing the juice to gel up. My MBV menthol is very strong so I've only ever used a few drops at a time to add to other juices.

I don't believe it's dangerous but you should wash out your tank as it will probably gunk up the coil. I'd save that menthol you have to add to other flavors to give them a menthol kick.

What's your PG/VG ratio, and do you always shake your bottle before using? Seems some of them separate when they sit idle for a period of time. Take your bottle look closely at it in the light. Shake just a little bit and look again can you see swirls in it? I've noticed this in mine, and have been shaking the bottle real good before using.

Contacting the vendor (as patkin suggested) is a good idea. It could be settling VG, the tank might be cracking, menthol can gel up a bit if it gets cool, or something none of us are thinking of could be happening.

Alternately, did you ever see the movie "The Blob?" Don't touch that. :)
