The battery I purchased was labeled as an Ego-C 1000MAH 3.3 Volt Battery. I purchased two of them. It is not a twist, and it is not an upgraded Ego. I purchased this from MyFreedomSmokes. Today - I thought it would be a good a idea to check the voltage, be it I see many people complain they get "less volts" then what that purchased.

Well, I hooked my battery up to me multimeter and...holy crap? Full charged, my battery is reading 4.12 Volts. Thinking this was incorrect, I checked my other battery - same deal, same measurment. Surly this is a problem with my multimeter. Grabed my other multimeter and I got pretty much the same measurment at 4.1 for both batterys.

Now when the light flashed blue ( 20% life remaining (according to MFS)) The batteries read at 3.71.

So to say the least, im baffled. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

The 3.3-3.4 Volts on regulated batteries is the underload voltage which won't show on a regular multimeter check. You'd have to have a set up that will meter the voltage when a coil (atty/clearo/carto) is added.

Now I feel slightly silly. I will have to do more research. Thank-you Kent C

More common than you might think ;) The eGo-c upgrade batt has 2 modes - one, just like you have - the regulated 3.4v mode and also a variable mode - where the battery is like any unregulated 3.7v batt - 4.1+ off the charger, 3.6-3.7v for most of the charge dropping off at the end to @3.2v. It's all I buy now, plus I like the changing button led that shows amount of charge left without having a 'readout' :) and the short and charge protection of the Joye eGo-c's are unmatched.
