strange problem? k100 won't fire and when I try to, batteries immediately get very warm...

I'm trying to figure out what is wrong here. All a sudden my k100 stopped firing today. After firing, the battery is quite hot and no vapor is produced. I tried changing batteries, but the same result occurred. The both have decent enough charges. What could cause this? I'm using a cartomizer that came with the k100 and its been working since today.

It sounds like you have a short somewhere. Did you try a different cartomizer?

I agree, sounds like a short - I would stop using that carto straight away and try a different topper on it.

that's what I thought, but I don't have another cartomizer atm. what could have made the cartomizer just immediately short? It literally was just working seconds before it shorted.

Not sure what can cause it but sometimes things like that can happen. Does the battery get hot when you push the button with nothing attached to the mod? If it does the short could be in the mod itself at the connection.

no, it's only when the carto is in, so I'm guessing that confirms it. thanks for the help.

screwing it on too tight could have moved something and caused a short, hot switch is a sign of either A. short or B. too much current, either way you do not want to keep pushing the button

Sounds like a short. Try a different carto or atty and see if that fixes the issue.
