Hey All,

Long time since I've been here, and now I come with a problem, of course. :p I have been making my own juice for about a year now and I just ran into something strange I can't figure out. I have been buying 100% nic juice and PG from RTS Vapes. I'm currently out of VG and haven't used it in a couple of weeks, but normally do. For e-cigs, I have literally every popular model, eGo, various black boxes, screwdriver, VRVV mod mini. Also, I'm fond of tanks and literally own every type on the market.

For the last month or more when I make up a new batch of juice I generally make it 25% nic, 70% PG and/or VG (or some percentage of the 2), then like 5% flavor. When I vape I produce clouds of vapor (there's your plug Bruce :D) for like 5 or 6 drags only, then it disappears to nothing. If I puff on the e-cig it produces clouds while I puff, but then when I inhale and exhale nothing comes out. Is my lungs absorbing all the vapor?!? Psychologically, for me it defeats the purpose. I like seeing the "smoke" to feel like I'm doing something and appreciate the effort.

So why would it vape like crazy the first couple of drags and trail off to nothing? Thanks for any insight you can offer!

Two things.

I assume you didn't have the problem until recently and when that happens one has to ask "What changed?" And from what you say - you ran out of VG blend - and since VG is a major vapor factor - I'd say that could be the cause.

The other thing - I vape with a high percent of VG and yet I've had that happen - where getting vaper from puffing but not on inhale, and that is usually two things - the battery is about to need recharged or the atty needs a cleaning. I put the atty in 151 proof, cheap vodka for a half hour and unless the atty is failing itself, it always works well afterwords. If you have a multimeter you might check both the batteries you're using - they could be on their last legs and check the atomizers for anything over what they are supposed to be.
