Strange question

Ok and I warn you it is strange... I have an atomizer that seems to only work on one battery. I can use other atomizers with that battery and on other batteries but when i use that one atomizer it will only work on that one battery. What is up with that? I thought it was the USB passthrough being temermental but now I am wondering since I have discovered this. All the batteries are charged and the atomizers were just cleaned (maintance) This is occuring with myself and my husband both testing. We are new to this e-cig stuff so I decided to ask those more experienced and hopefully get an answer as to what is going on.

Nope. I have only ordered from puresmoker and up until today I havent had any issues. This was the atomizer we were using to check the usb passthrough I thought was temermental btw. We were gone most of the day so it wasnt until we got home we discovered this strange issue.

The center poles inside of the battery connection threads and the atomizer connection threads must make contact in order for the atomizer to receive power from the battery and to work. Sometimes they get pushed in a little from use, and then no contact is made. It could well be that the center pole of the one battery is high enough to make contact with that atomizer (which is probably the one that had its center pole pushed in), but that other batteries can't.

Thanks Yvilla.. I will do more research and check this out further. Strangely both the USB passthroughs are working now even with that atoiser that seemed temermental with the one battery lol.. I think I may just have some wierd equipment or still learning and just not sure and having dumb luck. We have puffed so much trying these out on different things we need to pause some before we get nic overload lol.. I will ask more silly questions if I discover other strange occurances.. LOL I am glad you all are so nice especially to the newer folks here like me.

Same thing happened to me with one of my 901 atomizers. It would only work with one certain battery. I cleaned all the terminals, but that didn't do the trick immediately. The problem just worked itself out after a little use. If I remember correctly I think I tightened it down fairly hard a couple times.

Maybe you should tell her about the tin foil? I won't because I haven't tried it yet and wouldn't dare give someone that info without trying it first hand myself.

I deliberately didn't mention it because the atomizer was at least working with the one battery. And it could be a little risky, since if the tinfoil touches the wrong part of the connector thread (anywhere other than the center pole), it could cause a short. I didn't want to be responsible for that!

But anyway, just FYI, those that have had certain atomizers not making electrical contact with certain batteries (most frequently USB batteries), have had success using a tiny ball of tinfoil placed precisely (and only) over the center pole, thus making the connection. But it is definitely a try at your own risk proposition.

I've used it successfully, but am still pretty paranoid about doing it myself.

i am thinking that when it was screwed in at some point, it got cross threaded. That might make bad contact.
