Okay, I know this is usually a pretty simple recipe, but I am trying to clone a vendors recipe that was beyond good. I have one more strawberry to try (strawberry ripe) and I have found the right champagne (smells just like the vendors juice). I just need to know what ingredient would make the juice turn a golden yellow as it steeps. If you wonderful people could help me with that I would be forever grateful!

Sounds good I wish I could help but I've never tried champagne flavor. Have tried the ripe strawberry though and its spot on delish. Maybe the yellowish color from the vendor comes from steeping or the bottle its in? I've made some juices that started off clear but yellowed a bit over time. The vendor might use a drop of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice which may alter the color a bit. I hope you get the flavor your after, happy mixing!
