Recently one of my batteries died in the first two weeks of use. I had great costumer support within 24hrs. They told me to return the defective battery in exchange for a new one. :)

In the mean time I ordered a Triton battery and a USB adapter. I already have the G6 starter kit and so that means I already have the wall mount charger. If the Triton is to my liking I will probably spring for the kit. I will ship back the bad battery once I get the Triton.

I am worried about the longevity of my G6. Is this a fluke thing? Should I be investing in a lot of batteries? The book says 350 charges, that number seems achievable now after how many times I have to charge the battery. Is my kit going to be a nice paperweight in 2 months? Input?

So far I have tried the Tribeca, Midnight Apple, and Torque. I thought the Tribeca was.. interesting.. not bad just different. The Midnight Apple was apple and potpourri.. just me. The Torque was a little strong for me. I was vaping it out of a carto and I find the clear tanks give a much smoother vapor. :vapor:

Thanks!

It can't hurt to have some spare batteries ready to go. Remember, one is none, two is one! It's rare that one gets bad prematurely. But all rechargeable batteries will wear out eventually, even if you rarely or never use them. 5-7 years is about the max lifetime of current rechargeable battery technology, IF you rarely use/charge them. In the future, batterly technology will be so far advanced that it blows all battery researchers, and engineers living right now on this planet minds out.

Hello Newbie2...I have 4 G6 batts and haven't had a problem at all so I'd chalk it up to a fluke. I rotate my batts daily. I don't wait for one to completely lose it's charge, I just change them every couple/few hours and so far, so good. There will be some folks along to throw some numbers at you with regard to batt life, charge counts and such. Some are like NASA scientists...it's crazy :)

I've also not had to deal with Halo's customer service (no problems) but I read mostly great things about them which is always nice to hear.

As you'll read in many places here, taste is subjective...one person's disgusting is another person's delicious :)

I myself used to think that just because I inhale that it's supposed to taste like tobacco (I think that's a tobacco smoker's mindset) and have since (very recently too) found that I love the taste of fruity and even mentholly (new word :2cool:) flavors.

I'd recommend getting the sample packs or even getting a 7ml bottle here and there (build your own sample pack) to experiment. Ask folks what they like and also what they like with their favorite drink or foods. I've just recently gotten some great feedback which worked for me.

Eventually you'll narrow it down to the flavors you'll want in your rotation.

That is why I got 2 900 mAh. I charge them maybe once a day, so by the time I've charged them 300 times, it'll be the better part of one year, until I have to replace them.

I used Green Smoke batteries before, and I was charging them both at least twice a day, sometimes 3, so life expectancy, was about 3 months. Triton is a no brainer. It all comes down to the size you're comfortable using in public.

It's an overwhelmingly large system at first, so most people get a G6 to start, and that's fine; it's a good transition from analogs, but the real savings, is in Triton. For heavy smokers, the G6 is just not enough, although the mini tank will sustain you for a while. The Triton is where it's at.

For super heavy duty smokers, there's mech mods with drip tanks: big clouds makers.
