Strictly E Juice? What was the secret?

I am at a loss. I bought tons and tons of hookah strawberry from SEJ about 2 years ago... Well my last 30ml bottle of the 20 bottles I bought is gone... It was VERY VERY sweet, great TH at 24mg, and the flavor was super strong fresh strawberries with a hint of tobacco. I have tried mixing, but everything I've mixed at 80/20 PG/VG tastes awful. The loranns tastes artificial and the fluid is dull and the opposite of the sweetness I was going for. Although I have been vaping since march of 2008... I haven't had much success in mixing my own flavors beyond simply adding VG to the mix. What's the best sweetener to use? Am I missing something?

Best strawberry I think is Capella's sweet strawberry, tastes like a ripe sweet strawberry 10-15%

If I had to chose I's use Agava nectar. But the worry I have is that it seems that any thing sugar like will carbonize on the atty. I've been slow on trying that was wondering if anybody had any input on the impact on the atty. I've already fowled one with to much flavoring. It may have been that particular atty. It was a Ego T. I may have been the voltage was too high. My taste buds are still not back fully so I like it real sweet.
