Hey everyone. I recently purchased a LE Copper Stingray secondhand, and the threads have become stripped on 2 of the tubes. I've contacted JD Tech about the possibility of getting a re-threading, or for a recommendation on how to get the threads fixed and I was dissatisfied with his response. He said, "We don't re-thread, and that's the problem with second hand devices, you don't know how they were used." So I'll turn here. I know the threads are .5mm, and the tubes are 22mm, but I'm having trouble locating a tap and dye that meet those specs. Does anyone know where I can find those, or is there a shop out there (I'm in the US) that can or has fixed something like this before? Thanks.

If it's cross-threaded it can be worked with although I can understand why JDTech wouldn't want to, especially on a 2nd hand mod. If they are truly just stripped crxss is right, there's nothing there to tap.
