I have a red dragon but the combo cartridge/atomizer only goes up to 18mg. I can barely feel a throat hit at all. Are there distributors that offer a 9mm cartomizer replacement with higher nic content? I was thinking maybe a chinese distributor that sells bulk rate instead of the usual 4 cart per pack rate.
Red Dragon and variants are known for their weak throat hit. As an alternative, you might want to try KR808D variants that are also cartomizers, but with a pretty good throat hit, even below standard 16mg. Make sure that it is KR808D, not just lousy KR808. I bought mine from vapornine (Nebula) and vaporoptions (Zeus). You'll also be able to find 24mg cartridges there, but try with 16mg first. I use 16mg on KR808D and it is great, while I never got anything even resembling a throat hit from Red Dragon, even when refilled with 24mg.

MrCowbell, I used to be a LTV9 user too, until I discovered the KR808D (VK, Nebula, etc.). Tons more throat hit than the Red Dragon stuff, better flavors, higher strengths, etc. Order from VaporNine, Smilin, etc. and you'll see. You will NOT be disappointed.

I was searching for anyone else who had a RedDragon - I sent mine back for a refund - I do not think blanks exist for it - The "atomizer" is just a little wire - I found too many downsides to it - battery life - cart costs - difficulty in refilling - the look of it (very conspicuous in public) - Looks like you are having the same problems -

At first it seemed very attractive to me -as it does to many smokers- that it looks like a cigarette - I quickly learned that with these things that it seems the more it looks like a cigarette - the worse it performs - I have a KissBox that I received while I still had the RD and the comparison was -= well they just don't compare - Now I have the Stick and it blows them both outa the water - I could see how the RD would be ok if you are the kind of person who only smokes 3-4 cigarettes a day - But it just can't replace 1-2 packs a day without getting very expensive -

Thanks for the input. Now to try and figure out what to replace it with.

KR808D (VK, Nebula, etc.). It's outstanding and easy to use, and the prices are a lot better than the LTV9s that you're used to, both batteries and carts.

And the customer service from Drew and Ben are second to none.

Well - The new JantyStick Version 2 is set to ship next week - Fingers crossed - They claim to have the switch issues fixed - If this holds true then it is just about IMPOSSIBLE to beat it on performance - Even with the funky V1 switch - I adore it - And if it does have any trouble they will replace it for 6 months until it is right - JantyUSA.com - JANTY STICK V2 Ethan is truly awesome and will do you right -

If you really want the cigarette look and feel - I doubt I'd get too much argument that the Dura-C/510 is the king of that hill - I got a friend to buy one last week and he is thrilled with it - $58.95 for a starter kit - from JantyUSA - That 6 month warranty is really hard to beat - JANTY DURA SETS JANTY DURA-C SET
