I would say most likely you'll be fine with a thorough cleaning once a week, maybe a quick rinse every few tanks. After a couple weeks, the dry burning technique discussed above is advisable. Tribeca and Malibu are two liquids I use and they haven't caused much buildup on the coil. I check for buildup at the two week mark, and weekly after that. A month is a reasonable goal for a head to last with clearer liquids, perhaps only half that with very dark ones.

Triton/T2 tanks work great for me with about a monthly head replacement, about 75-90ml run through them. I typically use 2.2 ohms with 3.7-4.2 volt batteries.

Sweet clearos indeed.

Just to check back in, I haven't tossed any heads yet. The thorough cleaning with denture cleaner worked some small wonders. Lately, I've been cleaning them in batches about once a week, and it's been wonderful. Smoother, easier draw, more vapor, more flavor.

I still rinse them every tank-full or two...mostly because I'm constantly changing flavors. I'm just starting to settle on my top five flavors. (Still need to try some of these Halo Tobacco flavors everyone here seems to drool over.)

Going a week is fine before doing something "drastic" like a long soak in something other than water.

Also, I've heard of people using distilled water, but I can't be bothered. Not enough space in my fridge just for that. I've never tasted tap-water residue, and I'm a little embarrassed for even considering it. But some people revel in being that ...., and that's fine.

Bottom Line: Still haven't chucked a head yet, and I got my kit and extra tanks in early September. Yippee!

That's really good news as that's pretty much going to be my routine. I was hoping you'd re-post how the denture cleaner was working (thanks for checking in). I'll be following in your footsteps.

When I read SeniorBoy's post/instructions about the denture cleaner it made perfect sense. Something designed to deep clean nooks and crannies gently without any aftertaste...i.e. denture cleaner. Brilliant idea!!!
