I recently tried flat ip cartridges for my 510, and I believe they are superior in every way to round tips. So much easier and more comfortable.

I avoided these initially because I wanted an e cigarette that looked and felt like a real cigarette. But now that have tried them, they really don't look that much different, but they feel so much better.

For me, it really changes the experience.

What cartridges do you use and what do you think?

There are people that still use cartridges?
Dripping and OCD are a match made in heaven for me....

I actually went the opposite way just tonight. I got some new atty's in with round carts. So I popped one of the round ones on. It was like smoking one of those thick straws you get with the really thick milkshakes, really uncomfortable. Needless to say, quickly switched back to the whistle tipped one. Too me it feels somewhat like smoking a black n mild. I don't know if it's just me, the whistle tips on the mini cigars have always intrigued me.

I have to agree 100%! I also have the 510 and tend to hold it between my teeth. While at work I use auto batt's to vape while my hands are busy. After awhile the round tips start to feel uncomfortable and irritate my teeth. I recently received an order of flat tips, much more comfy now and easier to hold hands free. I 'll never go back to the round tips, threw the dozen or so I had in the garbage ;)

I use a 901, but I'm with you. I find the round ones very uncomfortable since, unlike analog filter, they're hard and feel awkward. I don't even particularly like those in-between style whistle tip carts; I like the flat ones.

Only ever used the standard round tips...when you guys say "flat tips" you mean the whistles tips yeah?

I might grab some before the end of the year...but I'm a fan of the straw mod and fluval cart, so flats would only work for me if they held the same amount of filler and juice.

.

Deschain, yes....we are discussing the whistle tips. And have no fear....the 510 carts and the 901 carts hold similar amounts of liquid.

I am so right there with you. I started off with a 510 kit. Wound up ordering flat-tips and LOVED the switch. Now I'm an avowed KR808 addict and I am missing my flat-tips big time. I believe Ms. Mary Kay has figured out an adaptation to get a 901 whistle-tip to fit onto a KR808, but it involves some modding. I so wish someone sold some. There's certainly extra room to spare in the carts to make 'em flat-tip style. Chinese manufacturers, take note, please!

I use a 901 whistle tip with my KR808D-1 / VK cartomizers. It's easy... just remove the filler, trim a bit off of the end of the tip (reservoir end), and stick it in the carto where the white cap used to go.

P.S. There is a thread and picture on the forum regarding this.. sorry, no link.
