I recently tried flat ip cartridges for my 510, and I believe they are superior in every way to round tips. So much easier and more comfortable.

I avoided these initially because I wanted an e cigarette that looked and felt like a real cigarette. But now that have tried them, they really don't look that much different, but they feel so much better.

For me, it really changes the experience.

What cartridges do you use and what do you think?

I tried whistle tips for the 510. I prefer vape using the standard round tips, with the mouthpiece cap in place. Just how the 510 was intended to be vaped, I suppose.

Dangling the whistle tips from my mouth resulted in too much pressure on my teeth. I would assume it is even worse with the 510 megabatt that just came out. If you want to dangle the 510 from your mouth, count on it being in your mouth like a cigar. Defeating the purpose of the whistle tip.

Also, when a whistle tip is used with the manual battery, one has to rotate the tip to a position that makes pressing the button convenient. This was too complicated for me.

HTH,
:) Dave

I just got two packs of the 901 whistle tip carts for my 510 tonight from Totally Wicked and I am in love! I've been using the 510 flat tips for a month or so and the 901's are so much more comfortable to my mouth. To me they hold about the same amount of juice. They are harder to take off and on, however, after a few times they get easier. One thing to note...if you order them, make sure to get the ones with the "O" opening not the "D" or they won't fit your 510.

Cherice....maybe I'm misunderstanding your post....but the flat/whistle tip with the "O" opening at the filler end is the 510 flat/whistle tip and the one with the "D" opening at the filler end is the 901 tip. The 901 tip will fit on a 510....you'll just find it to be a tight fit in the beginning.

I am speaking of these 901 carts Refillable Electronic Cigarette Cartridges - DSE901 I had to search all over to find ones that have the "O" opening. There are others that have a "D' shaped opening that will not work on the 510 atty.

No.. the "D" shaped opening 901 carts work just fine on the 510. They are all I use. SLB originals.
I have to recant my prior statement. I was basing it on another thread in this forum http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ssion/43226-510-vs-901-flat-whistle-tips.html I just got some of the D shaped 901 flat tips today from VaporCountry and they totally fit my 510. And, they actually fit better than the O shaped ones. It isn't as hard to get them on and off and they have an even thinner mouthpiece. These are now my top choice. Sorry for the bad info, but like I said, I was passing it along from what I was told :\

Cheers folks...just to be clear, I'll be needing 901's for my Titan then (I don't see any whistle types for it on any sites)?

I'll grab a stack of these and give 'em a try (I'm hardly losing a fortune if they don't work out either way).

.

i believe that TW has them on their 901's and should fit the 510. i ordered regular 901 flat tips that fit on the 510. i have been wanting to see if the slightly thicker 901 flat tips from TW fit on my 510 but have not as of yet since they did not have the platinum 901 attys when i needed them.:D

I got my first pack from TW and they are a tight fit but do loosen up after being put on a few times. The TW 901 carts have a little larger mouthpiece, are a little longer, and are a two piece cart as opposed to the ones from VapoCountry. In trying both, I definitely prefer the VaporCountry carts. Cheers

I just learned that I've been using a 901 cart on my 510....at least that's what it sounds like - they have the D opening on the atty side, but I ordered them as 510 carts.

I :wub::wub: the whistle tips - I think they concentrate both the vapor & flavor.

I also pop out the little cap on the mouth end. I do that on the round ones too.
