Stuck in customs?

7-8 days is normal for me from China, mine get held in NYC being in the Northeast. I have heard of up to two weeks for some, and even much longer for suppliers. One weird thing too, if its held by customs, USPS doesn't update again for me till after its delivered. It just finally shows up.

Customs is deluged with packages right now. Long delays are just the nature of the beast with international shipping during the Chistmas season. Nothing to do but be patient and remember to avoid ordering between mid-November through the end of the year next year if you want your goodies fast.
i think it is not normal. but considering the busy holiday season it is also kind of understandable.
if your package is unfortunately seized by your customs, we will reship it.
My order has been sitting in customs since 11/13/09. Still no word on the usps website. I'm starting to get impatient, but have been advised by Amy@HealthCabin that all is well. Time will tell. Lucky for me, I have enough supplies on hand to wait it out. rsmith76

our shipping agent told us that you would get a formal paper notice from the customs if it is seized.
Sorry, didn't mean to imply that a normal order takes 7-8 days, much less would be normal. When I've had an order lost in US Customs, their casual routine regularly adds an additional 7-8 days to the normal shipping schedule, in my experience, without any notice.

I have a order sent to me from Greece sent 10/23/09 and got to US on the 10/25/09 and it still shows in customs (NY) I haven't got a letter or note or message from customs nothing to date and still don't have my package... Has anyone had this happen to them?
After what seems like an eternity, my order cleared customs on 11/26/09. The order was stuck there for 13 days! Should be getting in a few days. Just wanted to let everyone know. rsmith7 6
