Stuck in customs?

A word for all of us, myself included. We must realize there is a level of chance involved in ordering supplies from China. The suppliers will do their best to insure that we get our products up to and including re-shipment, but once it lands on U.S. soil, there is little they can do. We are at the mercy of our government at that point, meaning customs. It is best to have a few supplies on hand to be able to wait out the game. I have never met Amy@HealthCabin, but I must say, she is a gem. She does here utmost to stay in contact until customs releases your item. If you have any worries about ordering from China, place your order with Amy, sit back and relax. She will get it through, even using paypal. Keep up the good work Amy.

My last order was opened by customs... they sliced through the bubble wrap, but even under that scenario, it only was held in customs for 7 hours (I had a PCC, USB Pass-through and 3x10ml of Juice)...

my most recent order has been sitting in customs for over 14 hours now... (This time 2x30ml of Juice, 3X10ml Juice, and 3 Atomizers)
I expect that customs will be slicing it open like last time...
But I believe others are correct in that it is that time of year, so they must have a LOT of packages to go through at Customs (Vancouver BC) right now...
I won't get concerned unless it is STILL in customs next week...

After USPS got around to updating, I receive it that day or the next. As said, they aren't great at updates.

I guess I am one of the few VERY lucky ones, I ordered last friday and my goods came the following Monday, so 4 days, I would say that is the fastest shipment EVER I have gotten from China so I am sticking with Health cabin for now!!

Healthcabin is the only one I deal with from China. I know I can depend on Amy. I have never had a problem with them. They have the best customer service around.

Thank you for the information. perhaps customs was curious about what was inside the package.

I think they kept the letter from customs. HAHAHA.
Got the letter today, was wondering where the pkg is and why send an empty envelope. I don't know, I need my order as I am getting the wife off and couldn't pass up saving $45 (this includes S&H) Could you find out? According to the EMS website it went through there but didn't get to NY.
Really strange that I got this notice, without anything inside the envelope. This is bugging me.
I need to get the Mrs off analogs and its the only way as she doesn't like my 510. (go figure, too much hassle.)

I checked your package on www. usps.com. it did not show that your package has arrived your customs. it has been waiting for airplane at hk airport so far because of the X-mas rush.

so i do not think that the letter from customs has something to do with your pakcage.

If your package is seized by your customs, we will reship it from here.

I am willing to explain the reasons why someone in California got his order faster than you did.

first, packages to California and packages to your location leave china for the USA in different flight courses. his package went to SAN FRANCISCO customs via shenzhen airport. yours will go to NY customs via Hongkong airport.

normally it take a few more days to get the usa via shenzhen airport than via HK airport if there is no backlog of packages at HK airport. that is why some people in New York did get their orders within 4 days, also the reason why we intent to send your package out via HK airport hoping that you can get your order earlier.

second, there was an unexpected huge backlog of parcels that go to NY at Hong kong airport last week. at the same time packages that went to San Francisco go well at Shenzhen airport.

after we found the problem with HK airport, we have started to send all packages out via Shenzhen airport since 6th.Dec.

as for your package, we are told by shipper that HK airport will arrange a big airplane to send a lot of backloged packages to NY this afternoon. we hope that yours is among them.

I am very sorry for the backlog because of X-mas.

I placed an order with your company last week. The tracking information finally posted on the mailing web site. One question. When it arrives in customs and when it get shipped out of customs to me. Will I still be able to track if from the EMS web site or will I have to move to the USPS web site to track the package, until it gets to my house? our shipper check your package and told us that your package has left china and should be there very soon. however the website will update when the customs inspect your package in the USA.

because of the X-mas rush, your customs can not inspect packages timely, so the website will not update timely. please you keep waiting with patience.

the tracking information will show up when our post office inspect your package. normally you can see its posted in a few days after it is shipped over here.

when the tracking information is posted, your package started to get into regular processing. normally it will arrive the customs in the USA in 3-4 days and you will see the update if the customs inspects them timely. after that, it takes 1-3 days to pass through customs.

you can track it on the USPS website after it reaches the usa. actually both EMS website and USPS website update slowly currently.

Your package will be delivered by USPS when it get out of the customs there.

Just a quick note to tell you I will be getting my pkg tomorrow and now I can rest a bit. Sorry to have been a lil .... but not use to the waiting from you as I have always rec'vd with in 5 to 6 days never longer. Sorry again and I cannot wait till I check everything out. I will let you know how it all is, good or not.
