Hi guys,
I'm so stuck in my next mod decision so I hope you guys can help me.
My goal is to pick a mech setup or a Provari, sound easy? Let me explain further....
I'm on a fixed income so I can't buy more than one mod.

I have 3 mods, Vamo,VTR and SVD but no good high end chipset mod like the Provari less we forget it's high quality.
So I want a Provari.

On the other hand a Nemisis clone and Kayfun is the bees knees in every thread I see. I even went as far as buying 8 VTC5's as my whole battery collection was just out dated and under powered. I went high amp knowing I may go down the mech path.
The problem here is I own an ATA-T2 wich I just hate, so I'm not so sure the mech route is for me.
I know I shouldn't judge rba's by one sucky one.

Then I think why not go with a DNA 20/30 so I can run tanks and rba's? But many times the lowest setting is way higher than what I need or want with my current tanks.

What about just getting a Kayfun and try it with 1.2ohm coils on my current mods to see if I like it enough to justify adding the mech?
Then again a Provari can run the kayfun slightly also. Just for added info I use only Nautilus and Aero tanks now.
I know I'm all over the place, but any suggestions would help

Well, since you already have vv/vw mods, and 3 of them at that, I'd say get a mech mod. You don't have to get the kayfun for it, hell you could just get a dripper and be plenty happy. You could throw the kayfun on any of the mods you have now.
That being said, a provari is a great apv. And will probably last you longer than the 3 mods you have combined.
But if I was in your shoes, I'd want to expand my horizons a little and venture away from vv/vw and explore sub ohm land.

Also the aga-t2 is a terrible judge of rebuildable. I had one and it was so finicky and annoying to get set up right! But once you get it down, everything else is a breeze. But don't worry, a kayfun is a whole new animal compared to it, the aga is a genesis style and the kayfun isn't. The kayfun is much easier to build.

provari is a great device, but its function will overlap what your other devices already do. its worth it though if you want something bulletproof to replace them.

right now fasttech.com has a sentinel m16 clone for $10. this is a great little mechanical (I have the $16 brass one and its my favorite mech) I would say get one, try it out. if you don't like it, youre not out much.

I only use mechanicals these days though I'm looking at an OKR t10 mod for high wattage vv

My biggest like of the Provari is it's electronics and quality build when you hold it, or so I'm told.
I don't have the patience for fast tech.
In a way it doesn't make much sense to buy another vv/vw mod when I own 3.
I think I may try a Kayfun on my current mods and if I like it I'll add the mech to fully be able to appreciate it.

or you can wait for DNA20/30 to be readily more available or China's DNA

sounds like quite the predicament. Heres my 2 cents. Mech mods are always an excellent choice, as long as you have a good RBA or RDA to go along with it. When I first started using mech mods I had a K100 and a Magneto with an RSST and an IGO-W. It vaped OK but I was definitely looking for more flavor and vapor production. then I went ahead and picked up a Kayfun Lite and a Vanilla SS mechanical mod. This set up was exactly what I was looking for out of a tank, excellent flavor and very easy to build. As most of you know its hard to settle for a good set up when you know you can make it alot better. I ended up getting a Hana Modz Pack V3, which is a VW device with a DNA 30 chip and also upgrading my dripper by buying a patriot. The Hana with either the Kayfun or the Patriot on there makes everything else seem just OK, the set up is incredible and I really dont think you can get much better.

In my opinion, I would either go with a Mechanical or a device with a DNA 30 chip in it, but you will only want the 30 watt capability if you plan on building sub ohm coils so that is something to think about.

good luck making a decision and I hope this helps

See the high watt mods don't go under 7 watts it would make it almost impossible to use any of my current tanks.
So if I do head this route I thinkil ill just go with a mech and Kayfun and see what rolls out soon on the high end Provari type mods.
Buying a Provari now seems just like buying duplicate mods compared to what I have as iirc my VTR can handle low ohms on par with the Provari.

So its a mech and Kayfun now and a Provari or better to add later.
THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!!!

What would be the best clone mod for the kayfun? Keep in mind I don't like brass unless it's lightly used as accent pieces.
Copper looks great but it would be hard to match a Kayfun to it as most rba's are SS.
It should be an 18650 mod also since I use VTC5'S exclusively.
I've heard a magnetic switch is the way to go also. So give me a few suggestions on the mod, and should get the SM German companies kayfun, and where?
