Stuck P+ Switch assembly

I am hoping to get some help here. I want to clean the switch on my P+350, but I can't seem to get the darn thing off. I have tried just about anything i can think of short of some vice grips to get it to unscrew, but it won't budge. Any suggestions?

Try running hot water over the tube, then quickly stick the switch end on an ice cube, followed by a gentle tap on the edge of a counter where the two pieces meet.

Thats why I Noalox all my threads... By all means dont use the vice grips....

Have you ever seen those rubber pads that you use for opeing stubborn jars? They are available on amazon for really cheap, or wally world may have em.

If any of the above tips don't work, just remember you can send it in. I know its a hassle , but we have an aluminum jawed vice here so it won't damage your unit or finish.

I've always found that jamming the end into my palm and twisting the tube will get a stubborn switch out... Yay man hands...

+1 for noalox, preventative maintenance is good maintenance....

Thanks for the tips, hopefully I will find some time this weekend to get it apart and all cleaned up.
