I've had this problem with both kanger protank 1 & protank 2: the threaded base gets stuck to the bottom and will not twist off! The protank 2 has the benefit of removing the glass but this is only adding to my problem. I can not for the life of me separate these pieces!! My thumbs are dying. Anyone else had the same experience and found a solution?? It doesn't happen all the time. I'm conscious about not putting it on too tight but the problem still occurs every so often.

Are you talking about the bases of the PT's not unscrewing from the rest of the PT? This is the first I have every heard of this kind of a problem. Certainly not happening here. Are you sure you aren't screwing the base on too tight? It's that, or you have somehow cross threaded the things and screwing them apart - or together for that matter - is going to be a royal pain.

Hey everyone,

I had this problem last night. My base & coil was stuck over tightened in the metal ring piece so i wrapped a small elastic band around the base piece and the inside rectangle protruding out of the metal ring piece. I then took a pair of pliers to each end and twisted hard in opposite directions. It finally came apart and now i can vape again!
