Help protank 2 stuck together

Hey guys, i need some help. I cannot get my protank 2 apart. The top and bottom metal pieces are stuck on the glass. They won't turn it won't come apart. Has anyone had this problem? I really need your help. Thanks

Toss it in the freezer and try again in 15 minutes.

Be careful if you do that bc the tank may crack if you torque it too hard after freezing.

I use a wet dish cloth and it always works.... Once you get it apart check the rings to make sure one wasn't pinched inside. This will help you avoid leaks next time in case it was pinched.

Just keep working at it. I worked at mine for a while before finally getting it apart.

I use those rubber mats for opening stubborn jars. If that doesn't work do what I do EVERYTIME for my kayfun. A pair of adjustable pliers with a dish rag in between it and the tank. It's the only way I can get my KFL apart. Doesn't leave marks either.

I've had the exact same problem, both with the regular and mini versions, and eventually they did come apart. I soaked them in warm water, then used a tea towel to get a better grip on the top and bottom metal parts. A good suggestion that I've heard, but have not yet had to try, is cutting out square sections from a pair of rubber gloves, and using them as 'grippers.'

This x2, i had the same problem a few days ago with my protank 2 but a run under some almost-hot water and a couple dish towels got it apart no problem.

Apparently you can use aero base on mini protank ... best of 2 worlds imo.
Gotta find someone that sells the base only, quite hard here in sweden... ugh..

Had the same problem with my Vivi Nova Mini. Tried hot water, dish rags. Finally got it after setting it down, (out of frustration), and coming back in about 20 minutes.
