Great study but it falls on deaf ears. Stanton surely will come out with yet another bogus study and debunk this study.
Heard on Fox news today that vaping causes heart disease. That's it. The "scientific evidence" came from Stanton regarding his study of vaping and "stiffening of the aorta". Seigel responded in a recent August blog. We all saw this article. But for FOX news to say one statement was truly unfair and disingenuous. I want to email them with some counter information. Just might have to change my favorite channel for awhile.
I was shocked when I heard that one liner. I don't know how much longer I can take this.

CONCLUSIONS:
E-cigarette use in the European Union appears to be largely confined to current or former smokers, while current use and nicotine use by people who have never smoked is rare. More than one-third of current e-cigarette users polled reported smoking cessation and reduction.

Too bad these are Europeans. This study will never fly in the U.S. because according to the FDA, our physiology must be different.

The recent findings that excite me the most are that most kids who vape are NOT using nicotine. The grownups jump to the conclusion that it must be about the flavors then but I say the attraction is visual, clouds and cloud tricks. If you never experienced nicotine why bother? Even flavor is optional. If this is correct the kids can buy VG at the grocery store. The mighty FDA will now have to figure out how to demonize cloud toys that vaporize vegetable glycerin.
