How many employees does the company have? How much do they pay in local taxes? It's not unusual for local governments to stand up for important businesses in their community. It was a chinese guy who invented the modern ecig but where would we be without evolve and their watts regulation and temperature regulation? Evolv is a US companny too. Another question, how much product does the company export? That part of their business will not be subject to FDA regulations.
