Welp, how long had you been quit before you got done in? I don't go by peoples ECF join dates, 'cause a lot of people join ECF but didn't actually quit until years later. Just trying to figure out if this was a stress thing that happened shortly after you quit, or if the relapse caught you by surprise quite a while later on.

Ok, so it hasn't been that long.

The stress thing is very different for different people when they switch to vaping. You know - whenever you tried to quit smoking without vaping stress could send you right back to smoking in a heartbeat. There are a lot of people who are still really afraid that stress events are going to send them right back to smoking even after they replace it with vaping.

I was a little worried about that too. Let's just say I had four "major life events" happen that normally would have sent anyone right back to smoking - but for me it didn't even cross my mind to do it. I can't say for certain what it was, but I think my attitude about things was "This is bad, but I'm not going to allow it to make things worse by driving me back to smoking." Maybe. And I made darned sure I had my gear and there wasn't a chance of a hardware failure or running out of anything. :2c:

I quit with vaping for almost a year and ended up smoking again and smoked for almost 2 years before getting back to vaping.

It happens to some of us, you got back to the vape pretty quick. Be glad for the experience that let you know how much you want to quit and get back on the vape train.

It's all good and it's just another experience in this crazy life. :) Hang in there, you got this!

Ok so I fell off the wagon , I had no idea how easy it was to pick back up smoking but it happened just the same,, I feel like poop , all the good I've done just wiped out like that it's a danged train wreak. So round 2 vapeing

Been there, done that.

No worries mate, just throw one leg back over that ole vape saddle and giddy up again. There's no crime or reason to berate yourself, just learn and move on.
