Hi, I have a 100 ml bottle of 12mg juice and a 30ml bottle of 24mg juice, can someone tell me how to make a 30ml bottle of 15 or 16 mg juice by mixing the two? thank you pls pm

You want 20ml or 12mg juice and 10ml of 24mg juice to give you 30ml of 16mg.

Here is the formula for future reference:

Known values
MG1 – Nicotine level of liquid #1]
MG2 – Nicotine level of liquid #2]
DQ – Desired quantity in ml]
DMG – Desired nicotine level]

Unknown values
Q1 – Quantity in ml of liquid #1]
Q2 – Quantity in ml of liquid #2]

The formulas
Q1 = ((MG2 * DQ) - (DMG * DQ)) / (MG2 - MG1)]
Q2 = DQ - Q1]

The formulas in action
Q1 = ((24 * 30) - (16 * 30)) / (24 - 12)
Q1 = 20
Q2 = 30 - 20
Q2 = 10

10 ml of the 24 mg and 20 ml of the 12mg would give you 30 ml of 14mg

12 of 24 and 18 of the 12 would be a smidge over 16

10ml of 24mg
10ml of 12mg
10ml of 12mg
Totals
30ml of 48mg divide mgs by 3 is 16mg not 14mgs correct?

HotRod19579, your formula is a bit confusing especially for someone that titles the thread "stupid member".
OP, I doubt you are stupid, this can be confusing and it is always good to ask if you are not sure.

Correct LD

Nic strength is mg per ml so another way to look at would be:
20ml of 12mg per ml - to get that total it would be 20x12=240mg of Nic
10ml of 24mg per ml - to get that total it would be 10x24=240mg of Nic
for a total of 30ml with a total of 480 mg of Nic (240+240=480)
To get back to Nic at mg per ml, you would divide the total mg of Nic (240+240=480mg) by the total ml of Nic (20ml+10ml=30ml)
480/30= 16mg per ml

Hope this helps

Merry Christmas,
Steve
