Total DIY Newbie.. Please Help

Hi everyone.. Im trying to figure out how many mg/ml of pg mixed nicotine to purchace for diy. I currently vape 12mg so does that mean that if I should buy 120ml of 12mg solution? Wizard Labs sells all the way up to 100mg. I watched a youtube video where the mixer used 78mg nic to make a 30ml bottle of 6mg juice. I understand there are calculators to figure out how much of whatever ingredients to get your desired results just very confused on what mg of nic would be best.

You can get 12mg already mixed at 50/50 PG/VG. Or you can get 120ml PG, 120ml VG and a bottle of 12mg Nicotine to mix it yourself at any PG/VG ratio you want.

I get 100mg nicotine and 500 mls each of PG and VG. I cut the nicotine into different ratios for myself and friends.

You have to take into consideration the flavors you add. Most are 100% PG, so that adds more PG to your ratio. One flavor won't matter much but several will. You can use the free ejuicemeup calculator to figure all of this out.

If you buy 12mg/ml PG nic, most flavorings are also PG based and you'd end up with 100% PG liquid with a lower than 12mg nic content because of added flavorings.

If you're apprehensive about the higher % nic bases, perhaps a small bottle of 36 mg/ml to start with? You'll have room for VG and flavors and it won't be as limiting. There are some who vape that high of a nic content, so you wouldn't have to take as many safety precautions as you would with 100mg/ml nic. Of course safety should always be followed! Esp. around children and pets. I started with 60mg/ml but now use 100mg/ml for the most part. Basically it's just your comfort level. You'll need some PG and VG as well for whatever ratio you like.

I buy the 100mg as well,then use the ejuicemeup calculator to get it diluted down to where i want it with the flavors added.If you feel comfortable with getting a higher content,it will also last you alot longer

Thanks everyone for your input.. I ordered the pg/vg from amazon, nic(100mg) from wizard labs, syringes bottles and flavoring from myfreedomsmokes.. hopefully all works out..

I am at 3 mg and I get the 36 mg nic...you still have to be careful but you won't die if you get some on your skin...just be sure to wash it up first!....I like Myfreedomsmokes for my DIY stuff.
