Stupid question about mr puffer

My husband asked why i cant just put a AA battery in it. I have no clue. Can I just put a AA battery in it

AA batteries are only 1.2V. No beans. Plus you wanna use protected batteries that wont blow up in your face.

AA batteries are only 1.2V.

At the risk of being pedantic, AA alkaline batteries are 1.5V. Only rechargeable AA batteries are 1.2V.
