Stupid Question - Ego and Boge Cartomizer

On the joyetech Ego does a Boge Cartomizer connect directly to the battery or is the 510 connection at the end of the Cone piece?

I guess I'm unsure if the Cone contains the Atomizer or if the Cone is just a coupling to attach 510 compatible atomizers\cartomizers too. It wouldn't make sense if the Cone contained the atomizer and a 510 coupling.

I'm assuming the same applies to similar type items:

$39.00 with a 900mAh seems like a good deal to me.

The cone just covers the atty/carto so it looks nicer. The atty/carto screws right to the battery

You are correct. Also, in my personal experience, the connection between the battery and cartomizer warms up a bit toasty after an intense vapeing session, the cone makes that heat almost imperceptible. Another possible function it serves is, when I overfill my atty the cone seems to keep the juice from running out unchecked and getting all over my hands, no cone = juice everywhere

You may want to use a slim 510 plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece in the Boge instead of the endcap (which most do anyway - easy to remove to check stuffing or add juice).

And re cone - I don't use a cone over cartomizers. A properly filled/ cleaned-up/settled 510 carto does not leak juice other than an occasional 1/2 drop or so onto the battery post - certainly isn't going to well up and go all over your hands.

Thanks for the feeback. I'm not too concerned about dripping but I could be wrong. I've been using Greensmoke for awhile and am a master at dripping\reusing their cartomizers. If the boges prove harder I'll take @dormouse's advice.

Oh yeah, I just purchased the Ego Starter set from Liberty-Flights along with some Boge Cartomizers and Premier Cappucino Decadent Vapour e-liquid.
