I'll be hitting a local B&M tomorrow to do some liquid shopping. Their site claims all flavors are set up at sampling stations.

Disposable drip tips? Pop my own drip tip on their tank? How does your B&M do it? I'm not necessarily a germaphobe but I'm already kind of grossed out just thinking about it, lol.

Most b&m use those rubber/silicone disposable mouth pieces to put over their drip tips.

One of my local shops has a sanitizer on the counter so you don't need the rubber piece. They pull a new sanitized drip tip out for each person.

All the shops I've been to have let me use my own drip tip though. Or if you use a drip per ask if they'll let you drip the juice.

Every B&M I've been to has silicone tip covers that you use over the drip tip. Slip it on, sample, slip it off, and use on the next etc.

Two B&Ms near me do it two different ways. One lets you drip into your own PV. They used to have sampling vaporizers, but they were having a problem with theft, so stopped.

The other has a few PVs set up just for tasting, and multiple tanks with flavors in them. They give you a silicone "condom" to use over the tip, so you don't get anyone's germs :)

Funny thing is, the first shop is a better shop in general, but the second has a better way of sampling flavors.

My local B&M has the covers for their tanks. I am less crazy about that because I think it mutes the flavor. Stopped in a remote B&M last night, and the had clean (I hope?) SS drip tips for their tanks. It was better flavor access, but I was a tiny bit leery as to whether they're clean or not....

:edit: but - I'm making my own juices now, so I test in my own tanks :)
