stupid question, please help

Hi friends, as you all know I'm a noob and on day 6 of being smoke free. I have a question, I feel so stupid to ask this but I really need to know the answer. First please excuse my complete ignorance! But where is the coil located? What exactly is the coil? I know it will need replacing from time to time but I don't know where it's at? Or exactly what it is. (I know, I feel so stupid) but you all have been so supportive hopefully you can help. My unit is a KAMRY X6 , adjustable volt, 1300 mah battery. Can you help me locate the coil so I can order some extras? You all are so great . I'm so embarrassed to ask this but I couldn't find the answer online. Thanks for helping me out.and sorry for the ignorance.

What sort of atomizer are you using? It varies by brand and type. I.E. Drip atomizer, rebuildable tank, cartridge, etc...

You may have the viva nova atty. In the metal tube thingy inside of your tank is where the coil is located. I think you can just buy new coil heads for those.
There is no reason to feel stupid for asking questions. That's why we are ALL here. I'm still super ignorant That's okay though.

that piece should just unscrew and be easily replaced with a new one. Just google viva nova coil heads. I think viva nova may have been what came in the set up you have.

It looks like a vivi nova style in this x6 kit. https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004493/1352103-kamry-x6-5-in-1-rechargeable-1300mah-variable. The coil is the bit that the strings go into, it unscrews from the top.

Watch out getting replacements, not all "vivi nova" coil heads interchange, it depends on who the actual manufacturer was. Try to pick up replacements from the same place you got the kit, so you get the right ones.

We've all been there and the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.
Seems like the CE 5 clearomizer is most common with that kit. here is a link to a site with the replacement head(coil) for the CE 5

take a look at it, Just take the bottom off your tank, it just unscrews, and then you can replace it.

Hi no I'm in califirnia, about a hour and half outside LA. Thank you all so much! I found the product I was looking for! I understand about the coil now too! You all are so great! Thanks for all the support! Yes I can't believe it but I've made it 6 whole days! Don't know what I'd done without you all!! I'm now trying to get hubby to start vaping .he's vaping on and off but still smoking. But the funny thing is smoking now STINKS to me! I never thought I'd sat that but my smell and taste came back and wow! I can't believe I ever smelled that way! Never noticed before but now it's a strong dirty smell. I'm so great full for vaping! It really has been a God send! My family is so happy that I'm vaping now they welcome it! It's really nice to know they understand. My mom is so happy for me too! So many positive things come with vaping and not smoking! I can not even imagine why some places ban it?? That's such a shame. I think vaping should be celebrated! Without vaping I'd still be smoking 2 packs a day!! Thanks again everyone for being so great!

If he's like me, he'll get to it eventually without any pushing. I went through about a month of doing both until I finally just let the cigs run out and decided to see what life was like without them. That was a personal choice. My wife knew that I had picked up some vape gear, but I told her I was just trying it out. If I had told her that I was going to quit, that would have just elevated the stress level more and possibly made everything harder. I'm sure your husband's a smart man, he'll figure it out.

Vaping is an amazing thing, I have had a pack of analogs sitting next to me all day, I have been vaping on an old setup until my new gear comes in the mail(which it just did today), I tried lighting up an analog just for giggles, and I took 3 hits off it and snubbed it out, it tasted nasty, smelled nasty, and I ended up getting light headed and instantly sleepy. Vaping seems to clear all the nasty stuff up pretty quickly and eventually and hopefully the analogs become less appealing.

Your hubby will catch on. Mine thought this was just another wasteful gimmick a year ago. Today he vapes full time off of an SID mod and an RDA, builds his coils and rewicks. Give him time, and don't push it on him, but leave the door open for him. I used to say "here hun, try this juice, it is so amazing" and my husband would try it, and most of the time I wouldn't get my PV back, or I would catch him making a refill on it lol. It is so much healthier for us, and for our families. My kids prefer me to vape because they LOVE to smell all the yummy flavors much more than the stinky smoke off an analog. But give it time, hubby will catch on!

Glad you got your answer and found the coils. They are usually pretty inexpensive, and I try to keep a couple of boxes of them on hand for all my clearomizers/tanks.

I'm so happy that vaping is going well for you. It's such a great thing to vape and not smoke any more! Keep your enthusiasm going and the weeks will turn into months and years!

Welcome to ecf and congrats on the start of your new addiction. You don't hestitate to ask anything on here because that is just how nice the people here are to new people. I still ask all sorts of questions and pretty sure I will continue to do so. Look forward to reading your future posts because I will probably learn something new myself.
