Stupid question

This may sound incredibly stupid but how does the refill of the e-cigarette work?

I have a USB passthrough and was told to put 10 drops of liquid on the little sponge inside.

However, yesterday I ordered some nicotine and now I'm wondering, where do I put that?

Is there a ratio of favor vs. nicotine?
How many drops of flavor and how many drops of nicotine do I use?

Also, how often do I have to change the little sponge? Every week?

If you could bring me up to speed, that would be great.

I ordered Malboro Red, 18mg nicotine.

I've been vaping Tobacco flavor with no nictotine for the past three days and it's just not doing it for me. I need that nic.

Im reading part 6 of 5 now. All the info is there. I mean if you wanna be an e cig fanatic and know everything in and out then go for it. I been getting by just fine. I didn't know u can vap just by dipping the atomizer in the juice. And im learning what the difference is between battery lengths and so forth. Interesting stuff but im more into making new flavors from different juices. So much info :/

No stupid questions! It is good you ask.

I have a USB passthrough and was told to put 10 drops of liquid on the little sponge inside.
Your mileage may vary. I take it you also have a 510 atomizer? Sometimes topping off a cartridge that has already been filled will only take a few drops and if it is wicking well, it may take 10 or more. Fill until it has a glass look on the top.


THEN add one drop to the inside of the atomizer on to the metal "bridge" inside. Put the cartridge back on and you are good to go. Add liquid to the cartridge when ever the taste goes off (harsh) or vapor drops off.

Are you talking about DIY make your own liquids? If so, usually 10% to 20% flavoring to the nicotine liquid. Depends on what you are using.

If I didn't understand your question... can you be more specific? I see you have a bottle of 18mg. That should be fine with no cutting of it, but if you want less nicotine, you can cut it down with either Vegetable Glycerine or Proplyene Glycol but it will cut down the flavor a bit.

As long as you aren't changing flavors, not that often. If it starts to squash down, you might want to put some new Polyfill in it. You can buy a big bag of it in any craft store like Michaels. Polyester Batting.

yeah, 18mg sounds about right, the flavor and nic is all mixed in the juice, so you wont have to worry about how much flavor to nicotine you should use. I found these on youtube for you cause I can't remember what PV you have...
