Kanger Subtank Mini works well for mtl on the one hole setting. As good as a kayfun for mtl? I'd take the kayfun. My opinion is that the whole point of sub ohm builds is direct inhaling.

You may want to take a look at the Aqua v2, which has a stellar reputation for flavor and mtl use. I have a Tobeco clone but I've been sick the last couple days so I haven't tried mine yet.

For mouth to lung (and the reduced airflow that entails), I'd stick to a single coil addy. The kayfun (tightest airflow of all my RBAs), is pretty good with the airflow wide open but because of the restricted airflow and slow wicking it isn't well suited for builds much below 0.7 ohms. IMO the Lemo provides slightly better flavor than a Kayfun and offers better airflow/wicking. It's what I use when I'm out and about, but at home it's lung inhales with a dual coil Magma. No comparison.

I did get around to playing with my new Aqua v2. It really is a great tank for both styles of vaping and the flavor is excellent. This Aqua gives the best mtl vape I've had from a tank, with the ability to open it up for a decent direct inhale or to use it just as an rda, which I think it functions above average as. I'm running a .8 ohm single coil and vaping 20w mtl, and later when I'm more awake I'll open it up to 28w and lung hit it. Pretty nice little tank for how cheap the clones sell.
