I've seen here on ECF where folks will say sub-ohming and lung hits provide better flavor and a better throat hit. Does the term "throat hit" have a different meaning for lung hitters? Every time I've done low-ohm vaping and taken lung hits either via my Mephisto or Atlantis, I get absolutely no "throat hit" at all. The throat hit is the tickle at the top of your throat just when you inhale like when you smoke cigs. It's a brief, almost immediate feeling that goes away quite quickly. I thought the reason folks used lower nicotine, and often lower PG juices, was to eliminate this when lung hitting. But then I see where someone says lung hitting provides a better "throat hit". What's the real skinny?

I am not into sub ohming but it is my understanding that the throat hit is derived from the percentage of nic in a juice. I like throat hit and use 24mg in my juice formulas. I have read where people do decrease nic with dripping and sub ohming because of its intensity. I am sure someone who really knows will come along and help you with this question. Sorry I could not be of more help. Nice to meet you though and happy vaping to you.
