Sub ohm coil 1.0 and .5

Hello I'm about to going to my local vape shop later on to day or tomorrow to buy istick 30w with a tank or joyetech ego one that comes with it now my question is what's the difference between 1.0 ohm and .5 coil. What gives you more vapor favor and how does the drag feel what do you guys recommend for me to start off with 1.0 or .5.

that is completely a personal choice - i prefer sub ohm coils (generally .5ohm - .2ohm builds are what I run)... if you do go with a sub ohm coil (the .5) keep in mind you will likely want to drop your nic level (i went from 12mg on 1.2 ohm coil to 6mg on .5 ohm coil... the sub ohm coils give you 'more bang for your buck' nic wise) - just a heads up

what's the difference between 1.0 ohm and .5 coil.

The 1.0Ω coil is designed for M2L (tight draw).
The 0.5Ω coil is designed for direct lung hits (airy draw).

In very general terms:

Lower Ohm Coils Will:

• Heat The Coil Faster
• Produce "More" Vapor
• Drain The Battery Faster
• Use E-Juice Faster
• Produce A "Warmer" Tasting Vape

Higher Ohm Coils Will:

• Heat The Coil Slower
• Will Produce “Less” Vapor
• Provide A “Cooler” Tasting Vape
• Use Less E-Juice
• Prolong Battery Life

Lower ohms (less resistance) allow more energy to the coil, thereby allowing them to burn hotter/faster = more vapor.

The iStick 30 is a high-wattage regulated mod, which would allow you to change the power setting to whatever ohm coil you choose to go with, and change your vaping experience via changing power settings.

The eGo ONE is a fixed-power mechanical mod (with some protection circuitry) not allowing you the opportunity to change your vaping experience via changing a power setting.

Both sub ohm tanks I have came with both coils, one installed and other in the box, you can try each and see, the Atlantis has a 1ohm recommended to run at high watts, I would recommend istick bc adjustable watts. The ego one is set volts, you have to change coil to change watts, not bad just letting you know. I think Atlantis came with .6 installed and .3 in box( I think) heraclese is similar, I like heraclese better tho

Also if you get istick 30 I think it's limited to no lower than .4 ohm. And some don't work well below 30w.just find a good match.

Thanks guys so my local vape shop only carry the joyetech ego one 1100mah so if I decide on the ego one I will have to get that 1100mah no big deal. so the joyetech ego comes with a 5 pack of 1.0 coil like deal bundle at My local vape shop plus like you said that it come with 1.0 and a .5 that great how long would a 5 pack of 1.0 coil will last me.

Also, you can pair other tanks to it (nautilus is supp to be good) if the factory set up doesnt produce enough flavor or (like me) too harsh on lungs even at 1.0ohm. Good luck!
