Thank you, and apologies it is indeed .8 ohms so sorry to confuse the issue.

I appreciate the detail of your explanation regarding could resistance etc. Forgive me for my ignorance but in layman's terms exactly what is achieved other than power drawn from battery, by changing coils example i will be trying a .8 ohm to a 1.5 ohm and am currently using a 1.8 ohm. Please forgive me iff you feel you have already explained this, as i just don't get it.

A lower resistance coil will tend to give you a warmer vape. On a regulated device the difference may not be as pronounced since you set the wattage you desire, but there is a bit of temperature difference. Using the same wattage (25 watts to be exact) I actually get more vapor from my rebuilt kanger sub tank coils when I build them at 1.6 ohms, but my .6 ohm build is warmer and denser. What resistance is best is entirely subjective.

Yes thank you DrTerral,
I must say its been a whirlwind ride and fast education so far. To be honest all the information, mods tanks etc was quiet overwhelming, i simply did not know what to start out with. But i had one conviction, i was going to give up the nasty cigarettes. In the end, i rang a chap who is in the business and asked for some sound advice. Money was not an issue as i wanted to give myself the best possible chance at quitting. He set me up with an itaste mvp3 with a kanger mega tank and some good juices. That was two weeks ago and have not touched a stinky CIG since. Thanks im very happy now vaping.

This is a continuation thread from way back. It has a lot of references to the older MVP2.0, but folks with the 20W and 30W have chimed in on the discussions.

Best wishes to you! After you've made 75 posts, you'll no longer be able to start threads in the New Members section, but you're always welcome to reply here. There's the General Vaping Discussions section, and DIY, and rebuildables, and.... Soooooo much here. Keep asking your questions and sharing what you learn. There's always someone newer coming along who can benefit from your experiences.

Cheers!
