I build a .8 ohm dual micro coil with 30 gauge in my trident.

Is the much difference going down to .6 or .4 or 0.2 in regards to flavor or just more clouds? Or anything besides saying you can and did?

I am happy with my 10 amp battery, but know from ohms law I go below .5 or so I can be in the danger zone.

Looking at getting a 30amp battery so I don't ever get that close.

Just didnt want want to have to spend the cash if the outcome didn't offset of reward....

I don't see much point in going below .7 or so unless you're doing a multiple coil build.

When you hear of 0.5 Ohms and less, it's usually because more coils have been added to the build in a parallel configuration. I.E. two 1 Ohm coils, or a single coil with 'twisted/doubled wire', etc. Here the the 35+ 'watts' (when battery is fresh off charger) are spread out over more than one coil (17 watts and some change for each coil)! As the battery drains to the point you should take it out and recharge it...somewhere around 18 watts is being spread across those two coils (8w each).

Personally, if I can get around 8 watts per coil...I'm a happy vaper. Very few liquids do I have that need more...and several are good with as little as 3 watts per coil. I do use smaller holes and take easy slow drags tho'.
