I jacked the coil up in my RSST and had to build a new one. Unfortunately, it was outside and the sun was too bright to see the coils glow, fixing hotspots was impossible. I checked the resistance and it read .8 ohms. It fired the coil to get an accurate reading as usual. It gave me an idea. I lowered the voltage to 2.9. It fired. I raised it to 3.2, it fired again. No error code. Is that normal?

Technically, 0.8 ohm at 2.9 volts is 10.5 watts. At 3.2 volts its 12.8 watts. 3.4 volts its 14.45 watts.

The Provari has a 15 watt limit, and Provape understates its specs.
According to Kenny, the ProVari has a 14.5 watt limit...but I agree about the specs being understated (unlike the common Chinese practice of "what will they believe?").
Opus,
Here you go!

Watts: 10.5125
Volts: 2.9
Amps: 3.65
Ohms: 0.8
I don't have a 0.8 coil right now but I remember trying to fire one with my Provari...
It would fire sometimes, but usually after several seconds an ERROR CODE would pop up.. The 3.5 amp limit was the culprit.
Also when checking the resistance is was unable to and gave a reading of Lo
