10 wraps of 24 Guage gave me .5 ohms put it in atomic rda is this just a bad setup? suggestions

yep works pretty damn good but I'll tell ya I don't care too much for this sub ohm stuff kfl+ much more enjoyable for my tastes

No problem...I've run single microcoils .5 and above. Im running .8 single coils in my Atomic and Trident at this moment....using 26ga for those..
You might want to use a 5/64 drill bit for the coils...10 wraps would be 1mm or so....
Nothing wrong at all. I actually prefer single-coil builds, even for very low resistance builds (< 0.5 ohms). Dual coils suck up twice as much juice but only seem to provide 1.5x as much vapor and flavor. I'd choose a 0.4 ohm single coil over a 0.6 ohm dual coil any day -- same vapor and flavor production, and doesn't burn through juice quite as quickly.

Subohm microcoil is good!! you just have to take shorter toots.
nanocoil subohm has better taste but even less toot time lol ive run it a few times but atm im running a nano with cotton only underneath and at .5Ω & 1/8airhole i would say its better then a dual 1/8 coil at .2Ω & dual 1/8 airholes.

Just follow good building and safety habits, dripping can be tremendously rewarding and fun.
