I am looking for some dual coil suggestions and single coil build suggestions for my RDAs (Atomic, Magma, and Stillare

I'm using a Magma with dual coils, 28 gauge wrapped 15 times around a 3/32 drill bit to get 1.25
It fits perfect and never drips juice into the air holes. I love this setup, about 20-25 min. between refills and I chain vape.

I have a similar in my magma right now except I only did 12 wraps I think it's at. 8 or. 9 ohms which is better then nothing but yeah I will add a few more wraps to get over 1 ohm I really don't like sub ohm

Please be a little more precise. 15 wraps of 28g Kanthal around a 3/32 drill bit will not get you 1.25 ohms. That many wraps around a 3/32 bit should get you somewhere around 2.5 ohms. So 2 of them in parallel will get to that 1.25 ohm resistance.

ya I knew what he meant so it's all good. just curious is there any downside to so many wraps?? battery drain perhaps??

Sorry for any misunderstanding, that's why I stated I was using dual coils. (2 of the above)

Just a little slower to heat up on Nemesis (18650), I haven't tried it on my Hades or wifes Magnito.

I'm not sure about the battery drain. The only thing is the actual length of those coils. But if Mofa says it works in his Atty then you shouldn't have a problem.

Im having the same issue sorta. I cant sub ohm on my mvp v2 but i want to try a dual. I have to keep it around 1-1.5 in my helios. I have 30g kanthal, so maybe like 10 wraps each? Agh i dunno. I just built my first coil, and its 8 wraps on a nail, at 1.8-2.0 with the 30g. But i want to try some different setups, not the same 8 wrap single coil :/
Any advice?

If you read through ALL 108 PAGES of the Fogger V4 thread, you will find some good hints (just joking, but yes I did read all 108 pages).
This pertains to dual coils on a regulated mod, Here are some miscellaneous contributions that might be helpful:

>Try using 32 awg kanthal for dual coils on your regulated device.
>I've got dual 9/8 wrapped coils coming out at about 1.7 ohms, and lights up like a champ on my Provari (VV) and Dani (VW).

>32ga 6? wraps on a 3/64th drill bit Came out at 2.9 ohms
>32ga 1/16th bit 5 wraps on them is 1.8 ohms, so I'll try 10 wraps each coil for dual coil

>if your 32 gauge is getting deformed, try to do most of the work on your drill bit instead of the
>tweezers + torch trying to do the pinching for you.

Thanks for those who contributed in the Fogger V4 thread, I did not copy and paste those who suggested the above builds, and I have not built these myself yet. I have a Fogger V4, but I'm waiting for 32 gauge Kanthal to arrive in the mail.
