Hi,

To all you tall skinny people, be very careful with sub ohming doing straight lung hits.
I been vaping for 5 years i dont smoke cigarettes and just started sub ohming doing straight lung hits for 4 days and then my lung collapsed and had to spend 9 days in the hospital lung surgery and everything.
It sucks soo bad because i was really starting to love blowing huge clouds and now im afraid of even taking small normal hits. Doctors adviced me not to vape anymore at all. My luck is ....e i tell you.

Well no but it isnt hard to figure out is it. It´s pretty obvious that my change in vaping taking huge lung hits caused it just 4 days after i started vaping like that. It probably wont happen to most people but i´m adressing it to tall skinny people. Tall skinny people naturally have a increased risk of a lung collapse sometime in their lifetime especially when inhaling stuff often.

Unless there's an official diagnosis that vaping caused it, it's nothing more than pure conjecture.

You cant diagnose such thing. I´m just saying that i believe with my rational mind that my change to doing lung hits at 30 watts caused it. You dont need to get all defending about it.

pneumothorax is common in teens and those in their 20s, the condition is also common in those who smoke and can be caused by a chest injury or underlying lung disease.

Pneumothorax (Collapsed Lung)

Im sure it isnt common. More common for tall skinny people. I dont smoke and my lungs are in perfect health. Had it all checked last week in the hospital. Im 26.

Sorry about your predicament, really I am, but..

Are you sure it's the deep lung inhales coupled with sub-ohming, or just deep lung inhales..

This must be a Pretty Rare occurrence.

Because I have been a Member here for awhile. And I have read 1,000's and 1,000's of Posts about Health Improvement in members. Can't recall reading about a Collapsed Lung.

In fact, about the Only Time I have heard about a Collapsed Lung was from a CDC Funded Commercial.

    Same here.
    But anything is possible.
I think mine are too full of diacetyl popcorn by now to collapse.
