Sub Tank Mini RBA with Ti?

Hello!

So I am about to buy a joyetech evic-VTC Mini with a Kanger Subtank (mini or plus not sure yet). I am not really wanting to be sub .5 ohm, I think for me around .5-.8 ohm will be good. So I am looking at 30guage G1 titanium, that will be around 8 wraps depending on center diameter to be in the range I am looking for.... Now I am new to this whole sub ohm Ni and Ti world.... Does this seems realistic? Am I missing something obvious here that is gonna be seriously wrong if I order this stuff? Thanks!

I use 26g titanium grade 1 in my subtank mini, 4 wrap at 2.5mm .17 ohms. All I have to say is you might have trouble fitting 8 wraps in the build deck with a spaced coil.

Was not planning on a spaced wrap.... Was going with a tight wrap and slightly thinner gauge wire....

Problem with tight wraps is you could get hotspots and that will throw the temp control off. If you pulse the coil in wattage mode to check for hotspots it will produce titanium oxide on the coil thats not something you want to be vaping.

I've got titanium in one of my Subtank minis. I did 6 wraps of 26 gauge, slightly spaced, and it came out to about .33 ohms. For my Kayfun v4, I did 8 wraps and it came out to around .48. Both on 3mm screwdriver.

I've got 26ga 8 space wraps of SS on a 3mm bit in my STM right now and I normally run a 24ga 6 wraps of Ti in it all the time. Both are space and fit nicely and provide an excellent vape.
