I'll chime in, since few people seem to read this forum(which is weird, since it covers a topic that could bite everyone, and is probably more important than if you should trade your 510 in for an ego...)
The smoking bans, as far as I know, specifically include e-cigarettes in the bans, which makes them non-loophobale(which is not a word), even though they don't fit the definition of smoking. So, the smoking bans effectively become smoking and other stuff bans. They are probably unenforceable due to vagueness regardless of what they say, as the only acts they can ban are acts that other people do on a daily basis anyways(exhaling vapor, inhaling vapor, cooking, etc).
They are also suspiciously unenforceable because while it's hard to hide a cigarette in a public area, it's almost impossible to be spotted using a PV if you're even partially trying to be nonchalant.
