Yeah air flow (flavour killer) is also juice flow control. Tighter draw wicks faster then wide open so closing it off a little may help you hit higher watts without dry hits. I usually only take a few puffs then switch tanks when dealing with 70+ VG. Have a rotation going. vaping the same flavour can make it taste muted, I usually switch flavour every time I change a wick/coil in each tank so usually one flavour is fresh till another tanks needs rewicking/replacing.

Really only the first few puffs are amazing of a new flavour before your taste starts to get used to it so the more often you can do that the better. Love single coil evods too because the wick is easy to switch out so for pennies you can change wicks and flavours every few days.
