All Vape type batteries are high voltage and rechargeable. They are not your wall clock or TV remote type batteries.
While you can use the built in charger of the device, it is highly suggested to get a quality external charger to extend the life and safety of the battery.

I bought my vape about 4 months ago and have never charged the battery.. ive started to notice less vapour recently, could this mean the battery needs charging? I've recently replaced the coil so know it;s not that.
What brand name battery do you have? If you don't know maybe post a pic

Hi everyone
I bought a kanger subox mini and in the leaflet it says customers must buy their own battery charger. Do these batteries (18650) not just die after a few months like normal batteries ? What is the difference between these chargers and the charger that came with the vape?
Lithium Ion are good batteries. They can be charged 99+ times.

I NEVER recommend charging batteries in a mod. Sometines batteeies get hot or vent when charging.

Better to have a battery ruin a charger than your mod and force you back on the stinkies.

my battery says 3.7v on it but on the screen on my vape it says 3.3v when I start vaping. Does this mean the battery is running low? and how do i know when its empty. thanks

Forgive me, but how have you managed to run an independent battery mod for 4 months without charging?
I am guessing you don't really use this mod (?)
The good people of this forum won't know what a Torchy battery is. Well, they are good but not 4 months good.
You can charge the battery using the cable that came with the mod (in the box) as a temporary measure. Just be careful doing this regularly; most of us believe separate chargers are more sensible.

Meant ive never charged the battery independently out of the mod, just been charging it through the cable charger that came with it. I've ordered a battery charger and samsung battery though.
