Hello
s,
I had an issue with my subox Mini yesterday that I thought I should share. I had the white SBM with the Goblin mini on top as one of my backups, and was really enjoying the vape. Next thing I notice the battery indicator took over the screen as if it was charging via USB port:/ "this is weird" I thought and began wondering if there was any problem leaving my battery in there while not in use. I did pull the battery and replaced it to see if the problem persisted. It did. It vaped fine, but when the screen was supposed to go dark, it still gave me the "charging" screen. I replaced the battery with a new one, same thing. I let it be and kept vaping on it throughout the day. I get home and pull the battery to charge it and Holy sticks, the battery was drained to 2.34 v!! Farts. I put the battery away to be recycled because I'm pretty sure that is well below the discharge limit. It was only a 1500 mAh batt and came cheap enough, but I was less than pleased. Double farts.
I have not heard of this issue before but wanted to see if anyone has seen this?
Edit, I really want to figure out if the battery is slowly discharging while it sits in the mod or if the low battery cutoff feature is malfunctioning. I am hesitant to ruin another battery to test this though.
